ABOUT ME

Grief and Loss

I have a particular interest in working with those experiencing grief and loss.  When you lose someone you love, it can feel unreal but at the same time all consuming.  Like your heart might break.  In the words of Zoe Clark-Coates "...it changes your life forever, it's not something you "get over", the loss becomes part of you".  If you let me, I will sit with you while you bear the unbearable, I'll support you through your tears, your anger, and your sadness in ways others may not be able to.  I can hold your hand if you need me to, or I can just sit with you, but I will be right by your side so you don't feel so alone.

Anxiety or Depression

If  you struggle with anxiety or depression, you will know how desperately isolating it can be.  Feeling anxious is not a negative emotion, it is an evolutionary development to help keep us safe.   And everyone experiences low moods from time to time, emotions and feelings come and go.  However, when you feel anxious on a daily basis, and the fear of panic attacks stops you in your tracks; or you feel so low you cannot find any motivation, to the point where it impacts your everyday life, that's the time to seek help.  Together, one step at a time, we will work on the anxiety symptoms, using specific breathing techniques which can reduce them.  We can work together to find ways to increase your motivation and help you to explore what works for you in helping you feel better.

And more...

If negative automatic thoughts are a regular occurrence then we can work on ways to notice and dispute them to restore your peace of mind.  I also work with Illness; loneliness; identity and more, but even if you're not sure if I'm the right fit for you, please give me a call  on 07791531755 or drop me an email using the contact form below ... because I may be able to help you find someone who is.
